1970年生於北京，大學畢業後定居香港。2016年曾在港大學習工筆課，之後跟隨過林天行、陳成球，黃孝虧，馮永基老師們學習。2018年9月至今，於香港西泠學堂學篆刻，2019至今在一國際學校教授書畫。
她曾參與過很多香港、中國內地、歐洲等地的國際性展覽，如上海藝博會、深圳藝博會、香港水墨藝博、亞洲當代藝術展、Affordable Art Fair、倫敦亞洲藝術週、香港城市藝博會，Art Central等，並在2016、2019和2021年舉辦過三次個展。
近期作品入選：2020年全球500強水墨大展；2020年北京國際美術雙年展（抗疫篇）。
很多作品被香港、內地和歐洲藏家收藏。
劉佳作品細膩感人，創作靈感多源於生活所思所見，「外師造化」下追求「中得心源」; 並努力錘鍊基本功，汲取前人傳統，以今人意念技法尋求突破創新。
現為香港美術協會、香港四維畫會、香港當代創意水墨畫會、香港天趣國際女性藝術研究會及世界女藝術家理事會會員，香港新墨思潮副會長。
Liu Jia
– Liu Jia was born in Beijing in 1970 and moved to Hong Kong after graduating from university.
– She studied traditional Chinese painting class in the University of Hong Kong in 2016. She has also benefited from the teaching of maestros including Lin Tianxing、Chen ChengQiu , Wong HauKwei and Raymond Fung. She displays a unique talent of blending together Chinese calligraphy, gongbi, xieyi, and contemporary ink art.
-From September 2018 to now, studying seal cutting in Hong Kong Xiling School;
-From 2019 to Now, working as a Chinese painting and calligraphy teacher in an international school in Hong Kong;
Liu Jia has participated in dozens of international exhibitions in Hong Kong, mainland China, Europe and other regions, such as Shanghai Art Fair, Shenzhen Art Fair, Hong Kong Ink Asia , Asian Contemporary Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair, London Asian Art Week, Hong Kong Urban Art Fair, Art Central etc. She also had three solo exhibitions in 2016、2019 and 2021. Many of her works are collected by institutions and collectors around the world.
In 2020, her works were selected into the Global 500 Ink Painting Exhibition;
In 2020, her works were selected into the Beijing International Art Biennale (Anti-epidemic);
Liu Jia is a member of the Hong Kong Artists Association, 4D Art Club, Contemporary Innovative Ink Painting Association, Hong Kong Art of Nature International Feminist Art Rssearch Society, and International Women Artist Associates. Vice president of Thinkers Group.
Liu Jia’s works are delicate and touching. Her creative inspiration usually comes from what she
sees and thinks in life. She pursues the “heart source” by “learning from nature” and inherits and seeks breakthroughs in the traditional kung fu of poetry, painting, calligraphy and seal.
